The Rogue Shop

My first novel, The Rogue Shop,  is a romantic and humorous coming-of-age story intended for the LDS market.

Promising his aunt to avoid all Mormons, Chris Kerry came to Utah to get an education — and nothing else. But with the help of some friendly neighbors and eccentric coworkers, Chris uncovers a truth that stitches together his lost heritage in a way he never imagined. This hilarious, moving novel illuminates how we recognize truth even in the most trying of circumstances.

Praise for The Rogue Shop:

“a refreshing change from the chic lit romances which have almost taken over and trivialized this genre in recent years.”

The Rogue Shop stole my heart and expanded my love for fiction…  [Its] redemptive message has the power to change, to uplift, and to comfort. “

–Heather Gardner, Fire and Ice Book Review

“It’s not often that I both laugh out loud and tear up when reading a book, but The Rogue Shop made me do both.   The plotting is solid and satisfying and the writing is vivid.  I predict that The Rogue Shop will be a fierce contender for a Whitney Award..”

Stephanie Black, three-time Whitney Award-winning author of Methods of Madness and Cold as Ice.

“…one of the best pieces of LDS fiction I’ve ever read.”

Tristi Pinkston, Author of Dearly Departed and Secret Sisters
